Hampton Inn Santa Rosa

幫別人預訂的，客人反饋酒店非常好。國外的酒店評價不多，咱也不是很瞭解，就憑衹感覺訂的，算是選對了吧。

We typically stay at Holiday Inn's or other IHG properties. Mainly since we find them to be very consistent no matter where we travel. This one is no exception. The property is well taken care of, customer service great, and the rooms were updated. We've stayed there before and will book there again.

This is a nice little Hampton Inn just off the highway. It’s our best stay in New Mexico. Bright and clean, and the front desk staff are friendly and welcoming! The hotel is pet friendly. They even have a game room if you don’t feel Ike sitting around in your room. Next time we drive through, we’ll skip Amarillo and stay in Santa Rosa!

We arrived to the hotel around 10pm after being on the road all day. Check in went well but it was downhill from there. After settling into our room, I discovered the toilet was clogged and not flushing properly. Mind you we did not do anything to clog the toilet, it was in this condition when we arrived. When I went to the lobby to inform the clerk of this, he handed me a plunger. I asked him if he expected me to plunge the toilet myself. I was informed that yes I would have to plunge the toilet myself because he was the only person working. After the initial shock of this interaction, I attempted to unclog the toilet. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I went back to the lobby and informed the employee the toilet was still clogged. I asked for a different room, which should have been the initial response of the employee. Initially, he had some difficulties creating the keycard but was able to successfully create the card. I returned to our room and we packed everything up and moved to our 2nd room. By this time, it was around 11:30pm. When we opened the door to our "new"room, it was freezing cold. I looked at the thermostat and it was sat on 48 degree, which I did not think this was possible. In addition to this, the A/C unit was very noisy. The front cover of the thermostat and the temperature button fell off into the floor when I attempted to raise the temperature! I realize this all sounds made up, but these things really happened! It was well after midnight when we finally settled in and attempted to sleep. I will say that the gentleman at the desk did apologize for the inconvenience twice. Once in person and a second time a call to our room. We woke up late the next morning and no one felt rested. Maybe because of the clogged toilet, freezing room and noisy A/C??!!!?? Anyway, we packed up and went downstairs for breakfast, which led us to our next, and final problem with our stay at this hotel. When we returned to our room, we were locked out because the key did not work. I went the the front desk again and talked to the employee on duty. She informed us she was "new" was not able to help us. She sent the manager a text and said she would have to help us. I told her that was fine because I needed to discuss our problems from the night before. The manager came over and I told her about the clogged toilet, freezing room and faulty thermostat. She didn't apologize for what we experienced but did say "the temperature should never be sat that low". She did offer give us a 40% discount, which was appreciated. She went on to explain to us that the electronic door lock on the room we were given has been giving them problems and they can't seem to figure out what is wrong with it. For some reason the keys made for this room never work. She also explained that if we need to get back into our room, that she would have to escort us to and from the room! I wanted to take a minute to give a special acknowledgement for the Hampton Inn in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. On our way back to Indianapolis, from the Final Four in Phoenix, in a rented RV with 9 people, the RV started smoking 14 miles outside of Santa Rosa at 10:30 pm in the middle of nowhere dessert. Many calls were made. Tow trucks came. All hotels were booked, so that first night we had to stay in the Rodeway. passable First thing the next morning, while waiting to hear updates on the RV, we called the Hampton, as we were not about to spend another night at the Rodeway with nowhere to do and two little guys, 4 and 7.. The front desk person, Ray, told us to come straight up and he would help us out. We arrived at the hotel at 9:30. Unloaded everything in the lobby area and he told us to go have breakfast. Within an hour, he had a room cleaned for us, so we had a place for the four year old to play and take a nap. RV was not driveable and our option was to get rental cars to go back to Albuquerque to fly home. However, Santa Rosa had no rental cars, Ray said to give him an hour. While we waited, we called churches, schools, etc to see if anyone had some kind of large van we could rent. One hour later, Ray calls and says he has a solution. As we arrive at the front desk, he tells us he has found a person who will drive two of our party to Albuquerque so they can rent large vehicles, drive back to Santa Rosa to get us and drive us back to Albuquerque to fly home. All hail Ray, the wonder man! The guys left, and we sat in the game room while the little guy napped, booked flights, and tried to figure out how to box up stuff. The husband of the general manager came into the room to see if we needed anything, as he had heard our story. (I believe he does maintenance there). We told him since we were trying to find boxes to pack all of our stuff from the RV so we could ship it home. He said he would check and within minutes he was back with 8 boxes for us that he had searched and found. Three hours later, the guys show up with a 12 passenger van and an Expedition. We loaded up and headed to Albuquerque. We didn't even get a chance to say thank you to Ray as he was gone by then. Everyone at that hotel that we connected with went way above and beyond what they needed to do to help us out. By the time we left, we felt like the whole town knew what was going on. While we didn't even spend the night, the day that we stayed there helped make our disaster more bearable. Room was clean, pillows were comfy for the naps taken. game room is great. While I'm not sure I plan to do a cross country trip again anytime soon, if we ever end up in Santa Rosa, NM, the Hampton will be our place. I have been a long time HIlton Honors member, and that will never change.

Clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Floor by bed very slippery ??? Hot breakfast was very good with egg omelette, sausage and breakfast potatoes. All the extras too like cereal and various pastries. Service was very good too. We stop here whenever during from Arizona to Nebraska

This hotel is in dire need of a remodel. Bathroom very worn out. Tub cracked when taking a shower like it had no support underneath. Clean room however and comfortable beds just need a refresh. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our need for adjoining rooms. Would stay again if a refresh was done.

We had a terrible experience with the front desk clerk who wouldn’t move us to a new room when a refrigerator truck , engine running all night, was parked outside our window. He was rude and condescending. We finally had to checkout and move to a wonderful La Quinta down the street.

Nice, clean hotel on Route 66. Bed was a bit too firm though. My son was disappointed that breakfast consisted of a western omelet vs. scrambled eggs. Super convenient stop on our way west - would overall recommend.
